Sprint question intercept / Optimist?

I had a sprint pink intercept. I thought I was actually upgrading when I decided to trade a girl on craigslist for an Optimist. She even told me she was down grading by doing it. So I felt pretty confident in my choice. Well today I was on Amazon and noticed the price for the intercept was valued higher then the Optimist. Did I down grade?? HELP!!!
