My best friend did this to me?

when i was at a sleepover at my best friend's house with a load of other friends, some lights got turned out and no one could see anything and my best friend was behind me when the lights were turned off so he know i was there, and when it was dark, he spanked me! he said it was an accident, but i know it wasn't. he complemented me on my hair. when i was helping him with a chore, he said it was awesome i was doing it with him. he also whipped me with a towel. he stands quite close to me, and if our legs or arms touch, he doesn't pull away. he sometimes hug me, if i saw "ouch" he always comes over and say "are you alright". he'll also walk over to me or something then like touch my nose, or say "hello" really close to me. does he like me, i think he does, but i asked me last time he did some similar stuff, and he said no (that was 4 months ago) but i don't want to ask again, but i really want to know... what do you think? thanks!!!!!
