Optimist/student please read my question.?

Normally in this category, I answer questions as an optometrist. However, you asked for an answer from an optimist. I happen to be one of those as well. I am sure everything will be just fine whether you follow your doctors instructions or not. Speaking as an optometrist again, it just takes time for things like this to heal. We often tell patients to do something like use lubricating drops that may help even a little bit just so they feel like they can do something to help make things better. You will be fine. That is my optimistic optometric opinion.
