Is it weird for total opposites to be best friends?

honestly, me and my best friend are the same, i mean opposite about everything. I like rock, she likes country, i like skins, she likes supernatural, i like flippy hair guys, and she likes dark skinned guys and pianists, we are a weird combination also, but you know what they say! opposites attract!
